Olivia X. LaRosa is the nom de guerre of Deborah Lagutaris, a lawyer but not an attorney. Ms. LaRosa graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2004. At 54, she was the oldest student in her class.
Her background, education, knowledge, skills and abilities give her uncommon insight into the sociology, politics and economics of the USA. Her concentration upon international trade and international human rights law allows her to extend her insight into global dynamics.
Ms. LaRosa was raised Republican/Libertarian. Once she became an adult she began to notice that her father’s theories did not seem to work so well. She continues on her quest to try to understand the underlying engines of society and educate others.
Ms. LaRosa’s background includes consumer bank management, consumer and mortgage lending, real estate sales, construction supervision, and business form sales and development. She holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License, a BA in Law and Society from UC Santa Barbara, a law degree from Hastings, and is a student in the Master of Laws, Taxation Program, at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
She is a tax practitioner and a legal document preparer.
