WOMAN DENIED HELP GIVES BIRTH ON CLINIC’S LAWN

I have not been able to close this link all day. The horror of what this woman must have felt when she was on the verge of giving premature birth! It makes me cry just to think about her pain and terror. She and her husband walked for an hour to the local clinic. Labor was a month early. This is her third child. She and her husband have a boy and a girl. As she approached the clinic, she knew that her child was ready to be born.

She walked to the clinic to get help in an extreme situation. She knew that walking would hasten labor, but there was nothing else she could do. Nothing could have saved her from the walk. There are no ambulances. No one they knew had a car. There are no buses and taxis. They named their son Salvador because he survived.
